Juno Distillery has taken home eight medals at the 2025 New Zealand Spirits Awards, further cementing its position as one of the country’s most awarded craft spirit producers.
The distillery’s flagship Juno Extra Fine Gin and Vesta Vodka led the celebration, each winning a coveted Gold Medal in the Contemporary Gin and Neutral Vodka categories, respectively.
2025 seasonal gins Autumn, Winter, Spring (soon to be released), and fan favourite Maia, were each awarded Silver in the Contemporary Gincategory, while the citrus-forward Summer Gin rounded out the haul with a Bronze Medal.
In the vodka category, Vesta Coffee Vodka earned a Silver Medal for Flavoured Vodka.
“These wins mean the world to us,” says Jo James, Co-Founder of Juno. “To have each of our 2025 seasonal gins recognised, alongside our other spirits is amazing. It caps off a great 2025 to date, with our Juno Extra Fine Gin and Vesta Vodka range winning awards in both New Zealand and Asia.”
Hosted by Spirits New Zealand and Distilled Spirits Aotearoa, the New Zealand Spirits Awards is the country’s premier celebration of locally and internationally produced spirits.
This year’s awards saw over 400 entries, judged blind by a panel of expert industry professionals.
These results follow a stellar start to 2025 for Juno, with recent wins at the Super Spirits Awards and the Spirit of Craft Awards, making it a standout year for the New Plymouth based Distillery.
